Tragic. Though they weren't the same men who killed Bin Laden, just the same unit. I was just coming on here to start a new thread on this actually.

just an awful terrible loss

we'll have to wait for a full report but from the sounds of things it was shot down, which leads me to this question, why would a chinook be landing in a hot lz? those things are like flying a tour bus

That sounded a little strange to me too. Really sad loss. Puts a lot of other things in perspective.

Aaron Vaughn is the husband of a Redskins cheerleader. Though I'm not sure she's still a cheerleader on the squad
