PSN is back up. With free stuff to. Kind of wish I had a bigger hard drive.

Still my main fear is that Sony uses this as an excuse to charge for online play. Being an XBox owner I can tell you that the price increases continue to get old, especially when they're justified with features that I have no interest in (Facebook for example).

So during that time, we've definitely got to fund it, and we want to add more and more and more. ESPN is a great example. No extra charge for Xbox Live Gold members. But we want to continue to bring that content in. We also want to continue to innovate on all dimensions, whether it's social, entertainment, or gaming. So there you go.

Seriously. Why do I need ESPN on my X-Box in the first place? I have cable and internet access which are much easier to use and navigate. It would be great if they added it for free but it's more along the lines of charging me stuff I don't need.

Basically the price increase also gets you exclusive DLC games (which you have to pay for), Zune, Twitter, Facebook, and ESPN among others.

Glad to see the system is workign again but i have my doubts. I also am going to be using prepaid game cards of some nature for PSN from here on out, because I was lucky that I had no information stolen, or any charges to my account, etc....
