Matt Hasselbeck leaving Seattle Seahawks; Tarvaris Jackson agrees to deal , sources say - ESPN

Sources told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen that Leinart was gauging other options Tuesday that include the Washington Redskins. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan graded the left-handed Leinart highly before the 2006 draft when Shanahan was the Broncos' coach.
I see that Hot Tub realizes there is opportunity in Washington, if you know what I mean.

We cant get every guy that Shanny graded high and never panned out....gotta try Beck first. Then maybe in five years we'll try Leinart lol

I think you mean we'll try out Locker and Romo in 5 years, if Mike doesn't retire first. lol

But seriously, I thought this ship might have sailed but happy to bring it back to shore. If we can give Beck a shot, I don't see why not Leinart. I still think he was robbed in Arizona last year. He had the better preseason and should have been named the starter, but Whisenhunt didn't like him and wanted him gone.
