Why haven't they cut him already? What are they waiting for?

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens

Yeah let's see. I have a feeling some teams that are acting like they're not interested will be placing a call to Young in the next couple of days

Unbelievable, didn't we learn our lesson from Haynesworth? no more disgruntled, work-ethic challenged Titans

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens

Jason Campbell for Vince Young ? Who would you rather have?
I have been a support of JC since he has been here but today I come to realize that JC is not suited for the WC offense. If we let JC walk at the end of the year who do we have as our starter? I think the Titans would be willing to let Vince Young go for the right compensation so would you rather make a deal for Young or Keep Jason Campbell ( Soup to some of you)?
Do we spend a 1st round pick on a collage QB? How long will he sit or start right away. No matter who coaches we will need a QB next year.
I think Young needs a new start and I like his athletic ability. I MADE THIS POST ON 11-21-2010 . LOOK at our QB situation now, no Jason Campbell or McNasty. We gave up a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th for rd pick for McNasty. I think we have nothing to lose by bringing in Vince Young for a chance to compete for a QB job. all he does is win.

Actually we didn't give up a 3rd and a 4th for McNabb, only one was sent to the Eagles, and the other was sent to the Saints for Jammal Brown.

You do realize at the time you posted this that Vince Young had already signed with Philly...

^For the right price, bring him in, make him earn his money, and have his replacement waiting in the wings before his contract is up. This team has to start thinking forward.

Re: Redskins sign QB Kellen Clemens

You have many options at QB next season, many potential goodies in the mid to lower picks in the first round or ones that might go in the top of the second round just in case we go around .500 this season. I would love for us to get Kellen Moore. That guy has a cannon!!!!! I do not think we will do so bad to garner a real shot at the elite though. I am thinking someone that is good, but will be under the radar. ANy SEC or Big Ten QB should be a good choice. If Dan Persa stays healthy he might be a very good pickup if he is available for us. He should garner great stats like in 2010, but with the addition of Nebraska and a resurgent Michigan, the Wildcats will be lucky to go bowling in Jan.
