ESPN 980 is saying that Banks may be on the bubble.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation

I feel like I'm the only one who remembers the electricity he brought to punt and kickoff returns back there last season. His kick return td in the Detroit game was awesome. It felt nice knowing we had someone who was leaps and bounds better than that fair catch artist Randle El. And he was also used in the Wildcat, although he was a runner only. I still think he brings value to the team.

The concept of camp bodies seems to be lost on some. lol

12-13 WRs on a 90 man camp roster is not crazy. These guys will quickly get weeded out. The vets can also help mentor the rooks. And was anyone really content with these WRs last year? Adding a few rooks wasn't going to solve all of our problems especially with no offseason work.

Bro, Madden doesn't have a 90 man roster training camp in the game so many of these guys don't know what to expect. They do however know that McNabb should have at least traded for two 2nds and a 3rd!

Hey, in Madden last year I was able to trade McNabb and Haynesworth to the Dolphins for a first and 2nd. We easily should've been able to do a first in real life.

And Madden did a franchise overhaul this offseason, so now training camp will have 90 man rosters.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation

What this means is that Kelly is gone, Banks and Austin most likely gone. Paul and Stokely on the bubble and the rest probables.

Paul is a young rookie they could send to PS. Stokely is the question but looking back he played with Baltimore, Indy, then with the Bronco's for non other then MS. So him coming in might just be for familiarity to the system, but he's 35. He might prove to be better then some because he already knows the system which is kinda a plus when thinking about a shortened offseason.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation

Yeah SB, you are right about Stokely, he is 35, but still has good hands. Probably won't make the cut. Woul love to see Paul make the squad but PS is the likely place for him. I don't see any of the Kelly, Banks, or Austin trio making it. If the coaching staff thought that highly of them they would have not drafted so may Wrs and now acquired a trio of vets.

Re: Redskins Receivers Rotation

Hey Matty,

What do you think the chances of Paul making the final roster? I really like the guys we drafted at WR this year. I hope he can make it. I like Banks, but I cringe at the thought of him getting nailed by a Eagles DB or OLB on kick returns still.
