I just heard on the Doug Gottlieb show that Vinny said somewhere (on the radio I guess) yesterday that he offered two first rounders to the Bengals for Chad Ochocinco back in the day when Ocho was asking to be traded. Did anyone hear this? Is this true?

Yeah, I do remember that from back in the day. Thank god Mike Brown is Mike Brown, because if it had been any other team in the NFL they'dve taken it and ran, and we'd have no Orakpo and Trent Williams, or possibly our '08 first rounder and Orakpo. Not sure if the offer was before the 2008 draft or after.

Hell yeah it's true, I remember thinking how IDIOTIC the Bengals were for not taking that deal. I wouldve been PISSED if I was a Bengals fan....
