Exactly, especially when Demarcus Ware was picked a few choices afterwards and Aaron Rodgers was still on the board.. Ah Joe 2.0, how you set the franchise back..

Anyways, good riddance to Rogers, one of my least favorite Redskins of recent time.. His ego far out paced his talent and production. I never got why he had so many supporters. He was beaten, benched, quit (IMO in 2009) and never took any responsibility. Kick rocks Carlos, enjoy the Bay.

Well, Paintrain, you win this round. In the sense at least that some of my least favorite Redskins of all time are still on the team.

At least we'll go five and eleven this year with a team of "good guys", completely free of those divas that contribute to teams winning games.

Sadly my friend, we both lose since neither your least nor my least favorite players have led us to much success.

I wouldn't mind a couple of talented divas, as long as their talent and production match their egos. BTW, 8-8 or bust this year.

Rodgers was a solid if unspectacular corner. Hopefully, Wilson makes the transition well and was not a product/beneficiary of the many other playmakers on the Ravens squad.

Regardless of his skills, and I think he was the best corner on the roster, I am glad he is gone - I get the feeling he was a mini-Haynesworth in some ways. Certainly seemed fairly divalicious at times and a bit of a pouter. I am pretty sure, just based on what he signed for and where, he just wanted to be outta here.

Here's my take on Rogers. He's a very good coverage corner and he can help just about any team. While people probably get on him too much on the dropped picks, I think is because our has always been in desperate need of a playmaker. Yet, I think that if he was better at holding on to picks, he could probably have gotten the money that he wanted from the Redskins or any other team.

We have a playmaker now. He just can't cover and loses his jock trying to tackle Jake Delhomme.

People are right to get on him about the dropped INTs. It's his job to make those interceptions and there are absolutely no excuses to why he's dropped the ones he's had. Absolute game changers (or game enders in cases) had he just held onto the ball. His interviews how he describes himself being up there with the elite CBs, except for the interceptions. Well duh Carlos, that's because the elite guys make those plays. Hell, even the scrub guys make those plays.

The pay he just got reflects his value on the open market. I imagine he's humbled as hell right now and should be working on hand/eye coordination right now instead of worrying about what's going on in the local clubs and what your teammate is being paid.

Blah.. So don't care about his departure. Team needs to wipe the stank off of the last few years and he was part of what created the smell in the first place. Niners D will blow this year.
