I agree. Best the SKins have looked in a looooong while. Also, 25 first downs is impressive.
hes right, that we have been efficient. but we did have the roughing the passer penalty. stat checker missed that one

I think he was referring to the offense when he made that statement.

kinda surprised about lack of false starts and how well the line is coming off of the snap considering

Sorry but even against 2nd and 3rd teamers Golston is a liability. Rest of the line was holding LOS Golston was pushed 2 or 3 yards back.

Stallworth has looked very good tonight. I don't know if that's a good think in the long run.

If you took our six best receivers right now, you'd take Gaffney, Moss, Armstrong, Stallworth, Austin, Banks. And no rookies. But that's why they won't take the six best receivers.

I hope.

Well I can officially eat crow now. I thought Clemens was going to be a joke. He is decent, not a starter, but can fill in if need be. I can't wait to see Beck though, and see if this Rex Beck crap was just hype. Hankerson is screwed if he doesn't get his act together next game. He is going up against Gaffney and Stallworth, along with Austin putting in a nice game. We have tons of WRs to go to. Can't forget about Armstrong either for the deep ball threat. Damn, if Rexy can stay healthy we will be rather fun to watch this season!!!!!!!

niles paul and terrance austin look like better players than hankerson, regardless of draft position.

Very happy for Terrence. When they got Hankerson and Paul, I had him as the odd youngster out, along with Kelly. Hopefully Hankerson can get it together next go around. I like Donte, but would like us to develop a younger WR corp that can stay around awhile.

Love Dejon Gomes. Though I don't really see the need for more strong safeties, he's a keeper. Horton, not so much.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Preseason Pre-Game Thread

Tell ya what I like--overall, we look well coached. Haven't seen much drop off from first to second to third string. Very nice rhythm and intensity.

I do think there's lots of good competition this year--it's really not clear who will make this team, so everyone looks more engaged.

Far to go yet, but it's a nice night, against a good team and organization in the Steelers.
