Yes I will concede the secondary needs improvement, but I thought overall this team has looked a hell of a lot better in this first preseason game than in recent memory. I just think its reason to celebrate. At least we aren't going backwards for once. Sorry for being happy. I'll stop if it makes you feel better...
Hey don't get me wrong, I'm always happy to see the Redskins win, but all those things our starters did, let's not get ahead of ourselves and remember that we really couldn't manage more than a 7-7 tie with our 1's playing their 2's during most of the first half. I would hope our starters would look good playing backups.

But I agree, it's nice to see some positive changes when compared to last year. I'm stoked about Hightower. Dude's a baller.

Last year, the year before that, and the year before that we looked mediocre against 1st, 2nd and 3rd stringers. Our first drive against the majority of the Steelers 1st team looked good and our defense looked okay. I take a good overall effort by the team any day over not being able to put up any points like KC did today against the Bucs.

Considering our previous experience with the Steelers im happy if we can compete with the 2nd string.
