They are definitely kicking themselves now on that one. It's nice, for once, to be on the right side of a trade. I just hope he carries this production into the regular season.

It may be the MS KS offense finally finding the right guy to run in their system, and getting it done on the cheap.

O is not as hot with Clemens running it, although that was an impressive effort escaping the sack.

Re: Redskins-Ravens: Gameday Thread

I will take experience and someone who is cool under pressure over a more athletic guy any day. Case in point, the ATL Falcons. They can't get to the playoffs with MR Wonderful Vick, but can with the rook Ryan the next season. Vick is a freak athletically, but Ryan has a good head on his shoulders, and at the time was a better passer(still is). If I am Coughlin or Andy Reid, I will love playing a Beck led Skins offense. Give the guy heavy pressure and he is apt to panic and do something stupid. It isn't John's fault, he hasn't experienced that stuff before in real game situations, but Rex has, and plenty of it.

Anything further on Jarvis Jenkins? I didn't see the play -- did it look grotesque?

Kinda looked like a classic ACL, to be honest. But let's hope for the best.

Seen a lot worse. I'm going to guess it's not serious. He was able to walk to the locker room.

Okay, that's a good sign I guess.

So if the 1st string is Carriker, Cofield, and Jenkins; who's the first backup at DE?

First stringers DEs are Carriker and Bowen, and Cofield at the nose.
