Re: NFL Players Train at U. of Miami

Redskins running back Clinton Portis has shown up now and then, and defensive back Sean Taylor, who has skipped the team's recent workouts, made one appearance -- and only to play a game of half-court basketball, Miami strength coach Andreu Swasey said. Both are former Hurricanes.

So what the hell are Porits and Taylor doing then??? I was under the impression that Portis was at Redskins park a few times; so is he going back and fourth?

WTF is Sean Taylor doing?? Nothing?!? Seriously, he is really becoming a problem to me. I just dont get his way of thinking.

Well, the key word here is "voluntary". He really isn't doing anything wrong by not being at Redskin park. NFL players used to just f around until training camp with no offseason program. I understand that the NFL has changed but the guy has a right to do what he wants. As long as he shows up to camp on time and works his ass off and comes into the season ready to smack fools down, then I'll be ok with it. If he pulls a T.O. and holds out, whines like a bitch by not honoring the contract HE SIGNED and causes a ruckus, then I'll have a problem.

I'm guessing that they're killing each other on XBOX or PS2.

I bet they're studying past contract hold-outs so they can "one-up" the previous major pain in the ass, oh, i mean professional athlete.
