Redskins Notes: Kelly Understands IR Decision

More stupid than bad attitude, and the stupidity was more driven by desire to practice, not desire to not practice.

Redskins Notes: Kelly Understands IR Decision

“It’s disappointing,” the coach admitted. “Here’s a guy that works in the off-season and then sets himself back in the OTAs and then when we thought he was in pretty good shape as we got started for summer camp, he hurts it right before training camp. He’s gone over three-three and a half weeks getting ready and he feels like it’s full go and then he bothers it right away. There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s why you have a lot of players in a lot of different positions. You have a lot of competition and people that are healthy and people that can go out, prove themselves, get a chance to make this football team and get a chance to help us win.”
