The indications are good so far but preseason and regular season are very different. If this thread was started 3 years from the draft when most of the picks made the team and were regular contributors then this thread would be well deserved.

Barring injury, two players are locks to be studs: Kerrigan and Jenkins.
Another two are likely to be studs: Helu and Hank
Then you have four guys with promise: White, Thompson, Gomes, and Neild.

Not to mention that Shanahan has relatively rigorous standards to make his teams compared to those fellas running the show in 2008.
