McCants can make a far bigger contribution to the Skins this year if he will work hard enough to be on the field much more often than in Red Zone situations. McCants has the physique and the hands to be the "possession receiver" for the team - much as Art Monk was in the 80s. And it is important to get those first downs along the way if you really hope to spend a lot of time in the Red Zone.

If McCants shows up and "dogs it" again this year, he will probably be cut before Game 1. So, I really hope he got the message last year and in this off-season and gets with the program that the coaching staff is putting forth.
