TO made that eagles receiving core 100% tougher and gave the team alot more confidence so I do feel he got the eagles over the hump

I also don't recall Pinkston being very tough whatsoever. I know everyone wants to believe that TO was the specific reason the Eagles made the playoffs. I could see the logic if the Eagles were a wildcard team the year before and THEN made it to the Super Bowl. They've been on the verge for years now and it wasn't TO that was essential to the NFC Championship victory that sent them to the Super Bowl.

It just seems like people assume that TO was the end-all reason the Eagles made the Super Bowl. We have to remember that no player is bigger than the team.

You have to remember, that while TO didn't help them actually win any of the playoff games, he is a major reason why they had home field advantage which is a major reason why they made it to the Super Bowl.

I think this whole thing is just great. No matter how this issue is resolved the Eagles are going to suffer. The end of the Eagles, the start of the Redskins.

All Hail to the Washington Redskins.

If I recall correctly wasn't it Pinkston who pulled up on a rout playing the Skins so not to take a hard hit. It was a catch he could have made for some long yards.
