A google news search for "snap count penalty" shows that Hasselbeck claims the Titans were doing it against him, and the only other reference I could find was Brian Billick doing a lot of bitching and moaning about the Jets doing it to the Ravens in '07.

If we were caught doing this in this decade, I couldn't find any evidence of it.

Not only that, but Romo was strangely silent when PRO BOWLER Gurode was tossing bad shotgun snaps when he least expected it.

well that doesnt mean anything.I did a quick search and found this

According to Section 3 of the NFL rulebook, such tactics are illegal and can result in a 15-yard penalty. In 2003, Redskins linebacker Antonio Pierce was flagged for the violation when the Cowboys were attempting a field goal in a 21-14 victory.

Is that the game I remember and time just flew by,IDK,could be,I thought it had been more recent
