I don't think he will. Hard to imagine a worse game than the one Grossman played today.

66.5 rating so far this season. We have the 31st ranked qb!

jeez, i feel sick to my stomach thinking that after the first week I was thinking to myself that Mike Shanahan might have been onto something with rex grossman. my god is hindsight 20 20.

That was the worse display of passing I've seen since Brunell. There is no way Shanny can justify allowing this guy to start another game. I'll much rather go with Beck.

I think he will make the switch. In the presser he said he would look at the film and then make a decision. If you have confidence in your qb u wouldn't say that.

I thought often today "who are you throwing too"? I like how Beck does moves through his reads and then makes a throw or tucks it and runs. I actually feel like he can get away from DE's and LB's where with Rex u may as well count on a INT or fumble strip.

The biggest loss today is the Offensive Line. First we get Erik Cook in their which is a Rabach deja vu with a couple extra inches. Then we got Trent "dumb penalty" Williams out for maybe 2 to 3 weeks.

I love Beck but this team was built around a fancier version of Martyball. Play great defense, run the ball well, and make sure the QB doesn't turn the ball over 4 times.

I didn't think Cook looked any worse then a backup, and that's what he is. He protected well at times and did give up a sack. I think both reserves played good, but not as good as our starters. I really am regretting not having a backup G on the roster right now. Monty is becoming the best center we've had in FOREVER for this team, and now we move him back to guard?

I do think having a 6'8 center is going to hurt us though lol

Re: Start John Beck Madness Thread

I don't think either qb is a good choice. If it's Beck hopefully he can play game manager football for the rest of the season, but I think our offensive line is about to suffer from losing Lichtensteiger and potentially T.Will for a few weeks. We can't run the ball for shit with them out, and if we can't run the ball we've got nothing.

I'm looking forward to next year with a better qb under center.

I haven't posted on here for a while, but I'm pretty pissed-off at this team. I wished that the NFL season got canceled due to the lock-out. I'm sick and tired of this team sucking balls season after season regardless of who the coach is. F this team!!!

I think I may calm down a bit if I were you. This team is still in rebuilding mode. We are getting better. We may not win the division this year, although we still might. But we will win it in the near future.

Whoever thought that going into a season with John Beck and Rex Grossman as the only quarterbacks would come back to bite us?

No sarcasm in that post.

Right?! How could not having an established starting quarterback hurt us? With Grossman crapping it up and Beck not really tearing it up either, I think back to an excellent point made by somebody else. If you've got 2 starting quarterbacks, you really don't have any.
