As much as I hate to say this; the Redskins are one team partly responsible for Taylor's flawed ambition. The same thing that will make you laugh, will make you cry. Last year when they took Portis off Denver's hands in a very simular situation they set the stage for this kind of behavior. The only difference, Portis changed teams, and I would imagine Taylor's desire is to remain with the Redskins, but for more money. No strange coincidence then that somehow Portis seems to be his liason to the team. He can't communicate with the coaching staff for whatever his reasons, but somehow manages to relate through another player.

This very time last year we were discussing charachter issues in deciding which players to consider drafting, KW II or ST. Somehow we thought we were getting the better end of the deal in taking ST but it seems to be getting to a point where it's a toos up between the two. Charachter was a point of emphasis that Gibbs placed great demand, but it could be that we have struck out on ST despite his physical attributes. Nowhere, other than in proffessional sports would this form of stupidity be rewarded.
