I don't agree. Idk why I ever took The League off my Dvr, but my fall lineup is now set again in between that, It's Always Sunny, SOA, Tosh.0, Workaholics, South Park, and just getting into old season episodes of 30 Rock on CC. I even watched a new episode of Nick Swardsons Pretend Time that came on last night that wasn't half bad. I'm good to go lol.

Walking Dead's season premier did a great job of starting off the season and spicing up some of the story lines carried over from the books. Even though they've changed a lot vs the book series, I'm really digging what they are doing and loved the cliffhanger to end the premier that was almost scene for scene transfered from ink to film.

That scene with the herd spooked me out.

Great first episode but it sure was loaded with commercials eh?

Agreed, that was annoying.

The herd scene might have been the most intense 15 minutes of TV I've ever seen. It was amazing. And how about Daryl taking on a bit of a leadership role?!

Hmmm, was not feeling the season premiere at all. The conversations just dragged on way too long, almost into soap opera territory. I almost felt the show kinda tailed off after the first season's opener, but Darabont's absence has definitely been felt in S02. Something seems amiss for me- writing, acting, pacing are all a bit off to me.

I'm almost positive the first post-Darabont episode isn't for a few more weeks. He was let go after the first few episodes were pretty much complete.
I also read that they basically took the first two episodes of the season and decided to combine them into one 90-minute show. That might explain the uneven pacing.
