Agreed, I love Doc - you know what you are getting when you tune in. The way he deals with Cowboy fans who call in is hysterical. Two Mondays ago he played various radio lowlights from the Cowboys collapse against the Lions going into and out of every break. Will never not enjoy listening to him talk about Romo's "competition anxiety."

I used preemptive on purpose. The DJs are having this wake as a CYA. On Monday they won't take a hit if the Skins win because everyone is happy. If the Redskins lose they can say "I told you so". They are trying to avoid a week of shows where they have to explain why they made the obvious pick and got it wrong.

I think you're pretty wrong here. Sports Radio types get picks wrong all the time. Most DJ's think they'll lose for sound reasons. The Eagles are desperate, they can score a ton, and they've won 9 of their last 11 games at FedEx. Rex hasn't looked good the past few weeks, and we can't score too much. Not to mention that this sets up as a classic game the Skins always lose. There are plenty of valid reasons to pick Philly to win this game.
