Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Unbelievable.... who has the TERRIBLE tackling run defense??? The Eagles?? Huh??
You sure you don't mean the Redskins?? As bad as I've seen.... well besides the last time we played the Eagles at home of course. I wonder if they'll scare more than 59 this time....? hmmmm

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
The interception wasn't a poor decision by Rex, but that throw to Cooley was. Nnamdi could have easily jarred that ball loose. Rex can't put his receiver in a spot like that

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
you are wrong. Throwing into double coverage (possibly triple) 40 yards down the field to a tight end is not a good decision.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Turning game off, this is gonna get ugly, just as i called it.
The one bright spot that could come from this game is if grossman ****s up bad enough to get beck in there for the rest of the year. |

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Field position-wise, it wasn't necessarily a bad choice if there wasn't that penalty. .

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Well you would expect your 6' 5" TE could out jump a whole bunch of small DBs.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
He's like 6'2" of 6'3", not 6'5". Rex threw into triple coverage. Even though it was essentially a punt, it still was probably ill-advised.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LEARNED FROM LAST YEAR... NOTHING.
And this is after a full year to review the Eagles... AND A BYE WEEK! Absolutely TERRIBLE coaching by Haslett... period... I'm sorry.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
He's 6' 4", so I was off by one inch (giggity). I'm not justifying the decision of throwing the ball, but also pointing out that it was a catchable ball.

Barf. Oh well. It's what we do. I'm used to it, was just kind of hoping this one would be different.

Cooley headed to the locker room....
Man, this is going about as badly as it possibly could. Crowd is totally out of it.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
My 35-14 Eagles prediction was way off. We're not gonna score 14.
