Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
The redskins played horrible and only were down a touchdown. I think that shows some good pieces and that there is no dominant team in the NFC East.

It takes a full game on both sides of the ball. The offense sucked all game. The defense only sucked half a game.

Hold someone to 20 points, you are doing well in today's NFL.

D came up big holding Philly to 2 FGs in 2nd qtr. 6 points over 44 min. is pretty good with Vick making only 1 mistake on the batted INT.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Ill take holding the Eagles offense to 20 points all take all freakin day. So say what you will, but when you hold them to 20 at our place, we shoulda won. half the damn 20 were given to the eagles by our freakin offense .

Orakpo was very undisciplined in gap control. he gave up several long runs to RB and Vick scrambling. He tries to go for the sack every play. He has to play smarter and in control. Our other OLB is out playing him. The Eagles pro bowl LT moving Bowen around like he was on skates. H e probably does that to a lot of people. We can not go man on man to much with the Eagle WR'S. Second half adjustments helped. Last edited by Defensewins; 10-16-2011 at 04:27 PM. |

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Yeah he's gonna kill us. If we can't contain Vick, we're not gonna be able to stop a kid who's basically Vick in his prime. Hopefully we learn to put a SPY ON THE QB.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Vick in his "prime" was a lazy sonnuva bitch who ran better than he passed. Cam Newton is a passer with godly athleticism.

Re: The Gameday Thread: Philly at Washington
Either way, if we play like this next week we'll get bent over.
