His pick was the result of Vince Young not being up to game speed and making a careless throw as the result of pressure.
I don't even think it was mutually exclusive between batting it down and getting two hands on it in an attempt to intercept it.

I was actually a bit surprised Hall didn't make that. He closed really quickly and Maclin didn't come back to the football and use his body. That was as frustrating a play as any of the Rex turnovers. If you get in that kind of position, you have to make the play.

Luckily for Hall, Kevin Barnes was terrible again, so we still need him.

All I said was Hall had a solid game and made a great play. I get you don't like Hall.

I still think he played well and gave the team a chance to turn it around. Maybe Hall keeps getting "lucky"...

I don't know man... Hall gets beat too much for my liking. His saving grace is that he does have a good nose for the ball. But his coverage skills are nothing overly special.

Barnes best fit maybe playing behind OJ Atowge at FS. Atowge has strung together several games now after a shaky start, playing pretty well. Barnes is a super liability in man to man...which is not good for our system.

Was it 4th down when Barnes totally wiffed on Avant when he tried to jam him? I think it was. I mean being physical is Barnes's strength. And it's 4th and 2 early in the game. Fletch just made a great play to tip a pass away. The crowd is fired up. Momentum is swinging in our direction. And the Eagles decide to shut us up right then and there
