The announcers said it best during the game. This offseason, the Redskins drafted mainly for defense. The defense is better than last year. This coming offseason, they must draft for offense. The must draft a quarterback or trade up to get one depending on where they finish. I've seen a few mock drafts where they have the Redskins drafting Matt Barkley of USC and Robert Griffin III of Baylor. Griffin III is definitely the better QB. They need a CB and possibly a veteran WR through free agency. And maybe one or two offensive lineman.

The reason why we picked D with our first two picks was not out of any sort of "plan" to pick D at all costs. The reason why was that there were a shitload of apparently good defensive prospects on the board.

Also, in total, we took 7 offensive players and 6 defensive players in the draft.
