Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
If the Iggles do sign him it will be interesting, if only because they'd catch hell from the philly fans & media for another 'Dream Team' signing.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Some people just never learn:
Haynesworth got into a heated discussion with defensive line coach Pepper Johnson during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the New York Giants.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
NOT SHOCKED... what bothers me is that he made off with a total of around 63 million dollars in 2 seasons w/ us.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Do you think Haynesworth will sign on with another club or is the baggage following him around going to cost him his career, a-la Portis and T.O.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Well, he's on waivers now. If nobody claims him...

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
I'm loving the fact that this has happened, even Haynesworth acknowledged that this would be his last stop if he messed up. Congrats, it may be your last stop.
If anyone gets him, its Eagles, Lions, or Seattle.

More of a Darkhorse, They need someone next to Mebane, and they had interest in him when we had him a while back.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Haynesworth is a lazy player. He's a huge waste of enormous talent. If he had the right attitude, he would be great. If I were a GM, I wouldn't sign him based on his past actions. It's just a bad sign that he could do the same thing if he signed with my team. Haynesworth is a joke. He's the biggest comic relief joke in pro football.

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
The reason he got whacked in NE is cause he got into a heated argument with coach Pepper Johnson after the loss to the G-men and the fact that he's a lazy ****!!

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Quote:
..against the Giants, after he drew a holding call with 14:10 left in the second quarter, Haynesworth put together three of the worst plays you will see out of an NFL defensive tackle. With 14:01 left, Haynesworth was easily thrown to the ground by Giants guard Chris Snee with one arm. With 13:59 left, Snee easily pancaked Haynesworth when he stopped moving his feet – a cardinal sin for a defensive lineman. And then on third down, Haynesworth was again thrown to the ground after he stopped moving his feet, this time by left guard David Diehl, who other Patriots regularly beat in that game. On Haynesworth’s next snap, he showed a decent rush almost playing the end position. But then on Brandon Jacobs’ 10-yard touchdown run, Haynesworth got too high and was easily shoved out of the gap by Diehl. Haynesworth’s day, after a few choice words, from defensive line coach Pepper Johnson was finished after that. And so was his Patriots’ career. |

Re: Patriots Waive Haynesworth
Almost.
Haynesworth didn't lay there motionless until the play was over.
