The only people who should suffer for this are the ones who had knowledge of it and didn't act accordingly. And of course Sandusky. But the truth of the matter is, plenty of people that had nothing to do with the scandal are going to suffer as well, which is a shame.

It is unfortunate. I would hope that would make the penalty for those who caused the innocent - beyond the actual victims of Sandusky - much much stiffer than mere forced resignation. Joe Pa may have done a world of good during his tenure, but his (and others) actions/non-actions hurt many in the past and will hurt others in the future b/c of the reprecussions.

Just deplorable.
