I forgot Vince Young as well.

With Vince Young, this team may still be very bad, but it would be excitingly bad. Or it might actually be a lot better. But that's not the point.

I'm sorry I just don't get the infatuation with Vince Young, of course I never have, but..... I think his playing time with the Eagles has proven my case.

I think Young would have been a better option than Beck or Rex. But who knows if he would have gotten injured here as well.

Mike Shanahan is not a GM. He's a head coach. Bruce Allen should be the one in charge of retooling the roster. Allen would have never brought in Beck or Grossman.

I don't see why RG3 would stay at Baylor

He's a different cat. Graduated in 3 yrs. w/Pol Sci degree. Honor roll all semesters, finishing his Masters in comms and looking to attend Law school. Baylor is a respected school in TX for trial lawyers.

Folks are both retired enlisted military (family $$$ doesn't appear to be an issue), RG3 is a religious guy (Baylor is a Christian university) and loyalty is a big deal to him. No huge incentive to come out now vs. next year financially. I can see him staying put, but I sure hope he comes out and we can get him.

Make sure you let us know how it was. Hopefully the game is on down here.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Dolphins)

Maybe we could make this weeks game more interesting and fun/funny if we had the "SmootSmack Down" prior to the game? Then maybe we can watch and laugh at how much actually becomes reality.

Also a big kudos to Fox. I never thought he was going to do the things it would take to make Tebow successful. I thought he was going to stick Tebow in, not make any adjustments, and say there I told you he wouldn’t work out. Instead he swallowed his pride and did things to take advantage of Tebow's unconventional qb skills
