LOL...he would have done a better job of assessing the opposistion but he doesn't know if that was done by the administration. Disagree with Obama by any means necessary...it's kinda sad he has to look this foolish in the process of doing so.


On a side note, it's very hard for me to understand how men of immense wealth to travel and see the world can be so uncultured to the point where they pride themselves in their ignorance.

Yeah Cain definitely messed up, but i dont really care that he had a brain lapse as that happens to the best of us. Whats troubling to me is that, and as you pointed out, he seemed to be taking the stance of disagreeing with Obama by any means necessary. That’s a not a good thing. Perhaps he was just tired or burned out from campaigning and using his energy to fight back against baseless harassment claims instead of thinking about the things he should be thinking about.

And its not like Obama is perfect. He used the tired excuse when he was campaigning and said there were 57 states. More recently (I think 2 days ago) Obama thought he was in Asia when speaking to Hawaiians in his native birth state. Whats extra weird is I don’t think Hawaii is really part of any continent. It just seems really odd for him to say, and honestly I don’t know if Obama meant it or not? I mean he's from Hawaii, maybe thats the way he and some Hawaiians feel?

There is misspeaking and then there is Cain and Palin. I mean, Cain just said the following:

"I'm not supposed to know anything about foreign policy. Just thought I'd throw that out," he said to a Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reporter while on his campaign bus on Monday, the afternoon after his interview with the paper's editorial board. "I want to talk to commanders on the ground. Because you run for president (people say) you need to have the answer. No, you don't! No, you don't! That's not good decision-making."

Do you understand the implications of his statement? Would love to get your take on the above.


Let make a few things clear, it's one thing to say 57 states and refer to Hawaii as being part of Asia and another to not know China is already a nuclear power and to believe the president isn't suppose to know something about foreign policy. With respect to Obama would a reasonable person believe the president isn't aware of the number of states in the union and that Hawaii, the state he was born and spent part of his life, is a Polynesian island? I suppose we could discount Cain's gaff over China but the body of evidence against his competence and flaunting of his ignorance with statements such has above I have no recourse but to doubt.
