I think that qualifies every one from the mid-west. Seriously ever mid-western I ever meet just goes on and on and on. Girl in my office I will seriously walk away from her and she is still talking. She picks up no social ques that you are tired of listening to her. We all say she tells stories in real time, so if the event she is telling you about took 4 hours it will take 4 hours for her to tell you the story. Growing up my little sister was a bit of carry on'er when telling a story. So if at dinner she was going on and on I would hold up my knife and point to the point of the knife, meaning to her get to the point. After all that I made a long winded post about long winded story tellers, how ironic. =)

![]() I honestly love being thorough when I'm telling a story, or talking to someone. I feel like if I cut it short I'm half assing it. But that's not to say I'm long winded all the time, only when I feel it's appropriate. I have enough social cues to know when to wrap it up.
