Re: RGIII declares for NFL draft

Can we ban anyone that doesn't support RG3?

Re: RGIII declares for NFL draft

Does anyone think RGIII will be available at pick #6 or #7?

Unfortunately I don't. People are gonna be trading away the whole farm to move up for that guy, us included possibly.

One of those times I wish the lockout was this year. Would be much easier to go into the draft see if you can get RG3 and if not pick up Flynn as a consolation prize after. Right now our options are as follows.

A. Trade up for RGIII
B. Hope that a talent like Blackmon (WR OKST) falls to us and keep our second round pick. Sign Matt Flynn to be the QB.
C. Same as B except use the 2nd round pick to pick Foles or Tannenhill.
D. Trade back and get one of the second tier QB's.

I wouldn't be surprised if Blackmon went to the Rams at #2. That team desperately needs to get Bradford some playmakers, and Blackmon is NFL ready. Dude is a total monster. I'd LOVE to have him in the B&G.

We Shouldn't Have To Trade Up. The Colts Taking Luck Is A Given. The Rams,Vikings,Browns And Jaguars Already Have Young QBs.

Browns aren't sold on McCoy by any means...

we pick ahead of the Jags so dont have to worry about them. the browns and a trade up from the dolphins might be a possibility.

The rumblings from Cleveland are that Colt is not the real McCoy so the Browns may want a QB. Plus someone like the Fins could leapfrog us through a trade.

Re: RGIII declares for NFL draft

Seeing as how both the Vikings and Rams are in the market for a LT it could affect how willing they are to trade down. Both would love Matt Kalil but Martin (OT Stanford) isn't a bad consolation prize. The biggest barrier to us drafting RG3 right now is the Browns with their two first round picks and Holmgren, a master of wheeling and dealing if there as one.

I think we are going trade up with the Vikings or Rams to get RGIII

Personally, I think we trade back and pick up either L. Jones, R. Tannehill, or N. Foles. I think it would be a mistake to move up.

The more I think about it, the more this makes sense. I would do this and only if RGIII is gone by the time the skins draft. Then go for a CB, QB, C, WR, S, LB, etc.

Yup. Been saying that for a while. Though I think it's just as likely we keep our first pick and then use our 2nd rounder and maybe a 2013 pick to move up into the mid first round. Most likely for Tannehill

Jones or Tannehill? Who's better?

I personally think Jones but only because I've seen him play a bunch
