We either need to trade up...or down from the 6th pick. If we can reasonably trade up to secure RG3 then make it happen. If not, then we need to fall back and position ourselves to take one of the AZ quaterbacks in the late first. If we get stuck at 6th tne we better hope Blackmon falls to us.

My sig tells you what I think.

Something is telling me Indy is going to sign QB Orton & they will be the team who receives alot of picks for another team to move up.

Orton? Hadn't thought of that possibility. Guess a lot will depend on what HC comes in and what his offensive philosophy will be

Wait a minute! We're talking about drafting Adrew Luck! It won't matter who's coaching IND. Between Orton and Luck, there's no comparison. Luck it is.

Re: And with the 6th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the redskins select...........

Is there any possibility of trading down? I'm no scout, but by what I hear, it seems to me the top talents aren't that deep in this years draft. RGIII, Luck, Blackmon, Kalil, Claiborne seem to be the only "top tier" guys. Unfortunately that is one less than what we pick. Lets say hypothetically that we get none of these guys and there is no one else we love, can you see a realistic scenario where a team would trade up to our spot? What do you think we could get? And what do you think we could get if one of those players (probably kalil or claibourne) drop to us (and who would make the trade)?
Personally I'm praying for staying put and landing RGIII, but I'm not sure its very realistic that we will get any of those top players.

I think RG3 would slide before Kahill would. Richardson could be a player that a team could be targeting that would be worth trading up for.

If you're right and those are the only top tier guys, why would someone want to trade up?

That same Mock has Blackmon going 16th to the Jets. One pick after Kendall Wright, the first WR taken. Goodbye credibility.
