Warrick is interesting since he has the potential to be a star, but (except for 2003) he's been pretty much a big bust. He'll get a hard look by many teams, but we'd have a shot to sign him for a realtively low price.

Law is old, he will ask for too much money, and he's got a lingering injury to boot.

If we didn't like Gardner because he dropped passes, we don't like bad-character guys with tons of off the field problems, and we don't like to overpay, I'd pass on Robinson.

Don't get law mixed up with his agents. He has done nothing but perform on the field. before his injury he was a top 3 corner. He could be plugged in at the various corner and safety positions. My only concern is whether he would become like Barrow and not touch the field after signing the dotted line.

I've read that the bengals may not even release Warrick
As for Robinson, he'd be got for us. He's faster than Gardner.
I think the frustrating situation in his personal life may have added to his lack of consentration in catching
.

You can mix up Law and his agents - his gripes and their gripes and whining are one and the same. Law is a damn good CB, but he's old. In one of his few moments of insightfulness, Len Pastabelly said good teams don't pay for what a player has done in the past, they pay for what he will do for a team in the future. If we're smart, we won't sign players who are on the decline and who will ask to be overpaid.

Koren Robinson is an alcoholic. While I don't condemn the guy as a person for loving the drink too much, I don't want him signed to our team. He misses practices, gets arrested, needs to enter rehab, drops too many passes, will want to be overpaid, and so I don't want to pursue him.

You're right that Warrick may not be released, but it's possible that Robinson won't be either. We're just speculating both of them will be.

well robinson has been released, and i hope warrick will too. peter warrick would be a nice pickup, he could probably be our #2 receiver. robinson will find a home and a new team to deal with his shit. i think next year he's gonna get suspended for drug abuse too.

Which #2 receiver would he be? We already have 3.

And mooby I asked you this when you first joined, but is the mooby you speak of from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?

Well Robinson has been released. I'm hoping Warrick is released and it's very possible he will be. The Bengals have Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmenzadeh (sp?), Kelly Washington, and some 3rd rounder they got this past draft.

Given the latest in the ST drama, I might re-consider my vote on at least looking at Glover or Ellis if one of them are released.
