We should go that route because he is better than any other QB prospect, has NFL game experience, and will come at a lower cost. Are you annoyed with me too?
No, because I took my meds between my first post and this one.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search

If the Browns draft RGIII what does everyone feel about trading 1 of our 4th round picks for Colt McCoy, if that was enough for the Browns to trade him? I would be all for it, he is still young and has potential to be good. He came from the Browns who don't have very much talent on offense, so I think he would be more capable with the Skins and the talent we add this off season. He has the mobility that Shanny likes. Then we would have our young starting quarterback plus # 6 overall pick and 6 other selections. I haven't seen this discussed anywhere. Then we could still draft another qb such as my guy Kirk Cousins, to completely re-do our qb situation.

No on trading for Colt. If the Browns did draft RGIII (which at this point a lot of what I'm reading suggest they won't) then I would rather either see if Blackmon falls to us and then see how to acquire Tannehill or Foles or trade back and draft Tannehill or Foles.

And I wouldn't worry about the Seahawks drafting Tannehill in a trade back because if the Browns take RGIII and we still need a QB then chances are Flynn is in Seattle.

Still I would be more upset that they didn't pay the price to trade up for RGIII.

Not to be a grammar professor but too is the correct form there.

P.S. To quote Bob Barker "I don't want a piece of you, I want the whole thing!"

I like the idea of of building this Redskins team with quality draft picks, not trading picks for unproven quarterbacks. Not taking anything from McCoy, but he hasn't been consistent enough in Cleveland to warrant consideration. I'd rather the Redskins draft their own QB in the 4th round, or perhaps continue to develop Jonathan Crompton to see if he might amount to something in the near future and use all of their 4th round picks where they are needed in order to retool the roster.

If they draft Cousins, Foles, or RG3, I'd be satisfied with that too.
