Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want)
Luck.
If we make a splash of a trade, we don't make that splash to get the #2 QB on the board. The Colts have more holes than just QB, and they take the extra picks and go QB later. |

The fallacy in that thinking is that the Colts are not just thinking about the short term future. From what I have read, they seem to regard Luck as their QB for the next 10-15 years. While I am not a big fan of their owner, I really don't think he would give up this opportunity to draft and develop a franchise QB. Just don't see this one happening.

Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want)
I selected Griffin because it's not farfetched to think that the Redskins will trade up to get him. I can see the Redskins trading away:
2012 1st round pick 2012 2nd round pick 2013 2nd round pick 2013 3rd round pick .....all in exchange for the St. Louis Rams 2012 2nd overall selection and possibly a draft choice in the later rounds in order to get RG3. |

Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want)
Either Luck or Griffin would be sufficient. Considering that it looks as if Peyton Manning will not return to Indianapolis, Jim Irsay will hold on to the Colts #1 pick and draft Luck. The only way Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan will take Luck is if the Colts and their new GM decide to take RG3 over Luck and Luck ends up second quarterback taken. Draft day will be interesting. |

Now, do we have a chance for either Luck or RGIII. Personally.... I think no. The Skins are not the only team who could stand to get a "FRANCHISE" QB. Is Bradford a franchise QB or just a really good QB? I could see the Rams taking RGIII and trading or keeping Bradford. Same with the Vikes. Who knows what the new Tampa coach will want to do and if he even likes his current QB. I think they make a play on Flynn though. The Browns definitly need a "FRANCHISE" QB. I think in the end we stay pat or trade back for more picks and take Weeden. |

Re: Predict Who Will Be The Next Redskins QB (Not Necessarily the QB You Want)
There is? I'm thinking it's more like .0001% chance.
They have pieces on the offense minus a QB. They draft Luck and dedicate rest of the draft for Defense. Mix defense and offense again in next years and following years draft and they are back in business.
