The biggest hint of all..

Smoot made sure not to acknowledge my post about grabbing Pineapple Jesus and trading him to Calgary for a basket of fruit.

EDITED... lol : I left out that we in turn trade the basket of fruit and our 1st rounder to Chicago for Cutler, then trade Cutler back to Denver for Tebow, then trade Tebow to Minny (they love him cause he beat them and played so well) for Christian Ponder, who we then trade to Philly for Vince Young, then trade Young to St. Louis for Bradford to re-unite Young with Fisher because are so close (if anyone remembers their history...lol). Oh, and we sign P. Manning to be Bradford's backup.

Ummm... duh.

He's hoping no one saw it as it would clearly give everything away.

You know this has to happen now.

I figured it was back to the Bradford thing, but I don't see what leverage the Rams have in dealing him. Sure he was a #1 pick, but he hasn't really done anything to warrant a huge asking price at this stage (i know he has crappy talent). Picks now are generally worth more than picks in the past. (so to speak) Also, we could force their hand on draft day if they really want RGIII that bad. It's either discount Bradford or be stuck with two QBs. I know SHanny loves the guy because he tried to trade up for him when he came out. He wasn't willing to overpay then so I imagine he's not going to want to overpay now.

I don't think Denver is going to trade Tim Tebow, but if they decide to move him, I think it's open season on veteran quarterbacks. I mean, Tebow and Peyton Manning in the same offseason? Good luck, Major League Baseball.

#1- I don't want Bradford. His supporting cast sucks in St Louis.... it sucks here also. If he can't get it done there he won't get it done here.

#2- We have no leverage over the Rams. Belive it or not they could keep Bradford and draft RGIII. Although they have a big contract with Bradford there is now a Rookie CAP so they wouldn't for RGIII.

#3- Plus the Rams would be smart to keep Bradford in case RGIII gets injured they will have a decent back up.

Honestly, Bradford to the Skins for the #6 pick makes perfect sense for both sides, really.

Shanny HAS to get the QB he's staking his career and rep on... and he's always liked Bradford... so #6 is no problem to the Skins....

And for the Rams... RGIII may have a higher ceiling, and they have so much rebuilding to do... the younger their QB is, and the more picks they have, the better.

Well, it's an awful trade for the Redskins, but outside of that, it's great for everyone!

Note... I don't LOVE the trade or think it's a great one for the Skins... I'm just saying... with Shanny going into year 3 and DESPERATE for a QB... and the fact that he has always had a thing for Bradford... it makes SENSE for it to happen... that's all.

How is that bad for the skins? They get a first overall pick for a 1.6 pick.

Can sign David Carr for under $1 mil, if the idea is to get a number one overall pick.

They can't ask for to much Bradford contract was before the rookie CAP was in place. 1st & 3rd & maybe next yrs 2nd.

Yep, just like Beck had to be the QB cause he almost took him when he was coming out in the draft and staked his reputation on him as a starter this year and always liked him. Wow.... it sounds so familiar.

and no it does not make perfect sense for both sides to trade. The Skins are rebuilding also. Didn't MS just tell us that towards the end of the season? Maybe Bradford to Houston makes sense, maybe Bradford to Dallas makes sense, Bradford to stay with the Rams makes more sense unless he's not a franchise QB and now they are looking for one like we are.

Well, I'm obviously smart enough to get the hints, but for the sake of those who aren't (which is definitely not me because I've totally absorbed and understood what you've been implying thus far), could you be a tad clearer?
