Why not turn it into a water park?

If I read the history right the park was only 5 years old when Katrina hit crazy.

Been there several times; great tour especially during Halloween.

That's a place I've always wanted to see...those old prisons are so interesting.

There's an abandoned City Prison near my office that I've always wanted to see the inside, but I'd have to unlawfully tresspass to do so. The owner was once considering turning it into sort of a mall, mostly places to eat and a couple of shops, but keeping the jail "feel". Never happened.

Re: Pics for Sharing

There's a supposedly haunted hotel in Gettysburg, which is near to me.

I can't talk my wife into staying a night to look for ghosts.

I actually worked with someone who was the Night Auditor (3rd shift) there and she had some great stories.

Most major religions teach that people go to heaven after the die. So if theyre in heaven, dont you think theyd have better things to do than fart around in old buildings? Then, theres people who arent religous, dont beieve in imortality of the soul, who would obviously think ghosts are nonsense. Basically, what im getting at is that I cant understand how ghosts fit in with anyone's "belief system." So if you beleive in ghosts, how do you think they fit in with your belief system (christian, muslim athiest, whatever)

Dude this the picture thread head over to debating with the enemy with that crap.

I am also guilty of talking religion in here but really it doesn't belong here.
