However, for a reason I cannot begin to explain, this year's Pro Bowl drew a big TV audience.

I watched until Cam Newton finally made me sick with his (non) performance!:vomit:

I watched because, by this point, I am starved for some football and figured the Pro Bowl was better than most of the other TV alternatives. I suspect that many NFL fans feel the same way. Just have to get every morsel of football before the season runs out!

Re: Around the NFL: Super Bowl Thread

Anyone else find it funny that two of our WRs played on the 2007 18-0 Pats?

I find it funny Albert Haynesworth used to be on this year's Patriots team. Mike "racist" Shanahan did Fatal Bert a favor, but his fat lazy ass just didn't care to see it.

Why does this lame nickname reminds me of the Seinfeld episode where George trying to make people call him T-Bone.

Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers says NFC Pro Bowlers 'embarrassed themselves' - ESPN

Quote:
"I'll be honest with you," Rodgers said on ESPN 540 in Milwaukee. "I was a little bit disappointed. I felt like some of the guys on the NFC side embarrassed themselves."

The AFC routed the NFC 59-41 in a game that drew boos at Aloha Stadium for its lack of early intensity. Rodgers, who started and played the first quarter for the NFC, didn't name specific players.

"I was just surprised that some of the guys either didn't want to play or when they were in there didn't put any effort into it," Rodgers said.

They should make it winners take all. Losers get nothing. Then see how hard they play.

Re: Around the NFL: Super Bowl Thread

It should've been negotiated in the CBA that guys playing in the Pro Bowl are assured "security" in case of injuries. Then you'd have a game.
