By default, we are the only ones (other than Indy) with a true QB need and the impetus to trade up is gone.
I can't imagine all of those things happening... I honestly don't think Manning will play another snap in the NFL (and that move dictates a ton of what happens in your scenario).

Honestly, I'm leaning 70-30 that Manning is done as well but if he's not, here's why my scenario is plausible..

Arizona represents his best chance of getting back to the Super Bowl. They have a strong defense, a stud WR and a 1,200 yd back in Wells. They are really a QB away..

If they make that move, they can release Kolb (still having Skelton as a backup) before his $7 million roster bonus is due on the 5th day of the new league year..

The Browns aren't fully committed to replacing McCoy but Kolb improves competition and has a history in their offense, with the coach and GM. Also allows them to keep their 2 first round picks while improving at QB.

The Dolphins/Flynn match is too perfect. The Philbin connection is there, he knows the offense, the only downside is they still lack a 'face' of the franchise.

The only other team with a question at QB is Seattle.. It's a low profile team, moderate expectations and the perfect fit for Campbell-the only other starting QB on the market. He is an upgrade over Jackson and can stabilize their offense. Also, with Tom Cable there a level of comfort already exists with the offense.

No other team would be as motivated to move up into the top 5 for RGIII.

Sure it's a lot of 'what if' and is dependent on Manning being healthy but it could happen.

That being said, if Manning is healthy a likely pairing of Manning/Tannehill in DC is just as plausible if not more.

I'm not dead but this team is dead to me...but now that McCloughan is here they may have new life!

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

We have a stong defense, 3 RB studs, so we pick up 1 more WR in FA and 1 in the draft and with Hankerson, Gaffney, and AA we look just as good.

I think the Cards stick with Kolb one more year cause they don't want to look foolish for the trade they made for him.

I don't see Kolb making it to the Browns. If RGIII is there they will take him. He's 10X better then McCoy they'd be stupid not to.

I think your right here, but it would be nice to out bid for Flynn and take him from under the Dolphins noses. I think 2 things will be the issue for him: 1- will he be the starter, 2- how much money will he make. I think if we offer both and out bid Miami we have a chance.

I can see JC going to Seattle or I can see him going to the KC to be with Zorn again, or Tenn., Indy might want him as the Vet in case their Rookie takes more time to learn the system.

I think it depends on the coach and system and what they plan to do. I could see the Rams taking him to solidify their QB for the future then either keep Bradford and let them battle it out or trade Bradford. I could see the Vikes doing the same with Ponder. The Browns are infatuated with RGIII... I don't think they move up but if he's there they will take him. What about Tampa? the HC there said he can't wait to work with the current QB but maybe he later see's something he doesn't like or he wants to upgrade that position. Miami might want to make the jump especially if Flynn doesn't go their way or maybe they do anyway and use RGIII as a Wild Cat QB. The difference is the Browns have more to offer the question is will they do it?

I personally think Manning is done. My reason for bringing him on board is so we have him and when he proves he can't play maybe he will listen to an offer for being on our coaching staff. I'm not saying he is the best coach folks just saying I'm sure he has some nice ideas about offensive plays and all those hand signs.

We do not have 3 RB studs. We have two good ones and a FA coming off a torn ACL.

Hightower will be fine. Hulu and Royster are as good as well. I presume your talking about Hightower. Come Sept we will have 3 great RB's.

Hulu is where you watch TV shows. Good and studs are two different things. Hightower never hit 100 yards for us and was the the 3rd leading rusher on the team. MJD is a great RB, Ray Rice is a great RB, AP is a stud RB. Helu and Royster have shown promise but they aren't studs and Helu is on of my favorite TV shows.

Exactly. We don't have one stud RB, never mind 3! Roster is a good depth back and Helu is an excellent change of pace back but not a featured back. Hightower showed some but durability is a major question as is his vision. He missed a lot of holes prior to getting hurt and was not a 100 yard back for us in any games.

I wouldn't be shocked to see us look for a feature back in FA or in the top 3 rounds.

I love Roy Helu but wouldn't be shocked or mad if we took Trent Richardson if RGIII, Blackmon, and Claiborne were all off the board.

Wouldn't be shocked? Don't think Mike has ever drafted a RB in the first so don't think this draft will be any different.
