I don't know him but thought it was interesting that the NFP picked it up.

Also thought this was interesting:

Peyton Manning Willing to Work "Flexible" Contract

The Phinsider — According to an Adam Schefter report, sources close to Peyton Manning are saying, if the Indianapolis Colts were to release him, he would be willing to work a "flexible" contract with his new team. Basically, Manning would work a deal that would guarantee little money, with most of the salary in either roster bonuses, or on the field performance incentives. This could alleviate a lot of the health concerns teams may have for Manning, and make it easier to sign the leagues only 4-time MVP.

I'm not saying Eskin is wrong. Just need to hear it from more people. The buzz on Manning has been so hard to keep up with. Again, me personally I'd sign him if healthy.

Heard about the flexible contract. Also have heard post career ownership is another option

No idea.

I think it would be foolish not to consider Manning if he's healthy

Agreed, anyone who has a need at QB is going to be gunning for him. A player of his caliber hitting the open market is just crazy.

Perhaps I'm being naive but Manning's net worth is $115 million and has the money now to invest.

Peyton Manning Net Worth ‹ 2012 Celebrity Net Worth

Snyder is a shrewd businss man with the #2 most valuable franchise ($1.55 bil), always looking for ways/people to increase the "excitement" and revenue of the product. For example, we're going to eventually need a new stadium to keep up with the "Jones" in TX.

I could see him working out a post career minority investor deal with Manning.

You still have to figure out how to fit that under the cap or the league would come down on us like a ton of bricks if we tried to skirt it with something like that.

I think all the talk about Peyton taking little guarteed money all goes out the window once teams start throwing offers at him.
