It's old info I had, or maybe better said wrong info. Yeah, I can admit it. I didn't think it was genuine but now that I know more information, and know who the catalyst is behind it, I can comfortably say that this isn't just a smokescreen. The interest is sincere and the feeling is mutual. I had heard that Mike Shanahan was against it, but that was (it turns out) highly exaggerated.
Will he sign here? I don't know. I still think the Jets are a very strong possibility...and Mark Sanchez to the Redskins!
But seriously, I don't know if we'll sign Manning but I've accepted that it's very possible. Actually, I love the idea of a healthy Manning. So long as we add one or two young QBs. That was always my problem with the McNabb move.
