Agree with Dirtbag. For all the talk about how Tim Tebow couldn't throw a pro route tree, Cam Newton was actually worse than that in the preseason. Then he threw for four bucks in Week 1.
Cam's rookie year wasn't a historically great passing season for a QB or anything, but it was the kind of season you would expect from a guy who may become an all-time great, but isn't at this time. What Cam Newton -- very quietly, I might add -- did with his legs in 2011 is something we haven't seen in the history of the NFL.

Rex and the Redskins have been at a bit of a standstill with contract talks and Clausen can probably be had cheap.
I think they're going to let Rex test the market and then welcome him back if neither side finds something better

i don't even care anymore. rg3 has shown me enough potential. i was completely against drafting qbs in the 1st round but i just don't care anymore. i want luck or rg3 even if it means coughing up two 1st round picks, a 2nd round pick, and a 3rd round pick.

Well, they are right about one thing. The dude is bright, animated, well spoken and quite entertaining. With his Football acumen, he would be a real asset to ESPN.........

So could we compare some of the interest in Hoyer by NFL clubs to Schuab when he was traded out of ATL. Highly regarded but never had a chance to play.
