It wasn't a "omg, we're huge fanboys that have been waiting to see this movie since we read the script" deal lol. Honestly I don't go to movies that much anymore not because there's stuff not worth seeing, but mostly because it's pretty expensive. And I'm willing to wait until 6 months after the movie comes out and I can catch it on Redbox for 1/12th of the price.

I can remember when I was like 7 or 8 and my folks would take me to the matinee show and the total for 3 tickets was like $15.

I can only imagine how cheap it was for some of the older members back in the day.

It was definitely under $5 for a matinee when I was a kid.
