Bad case, little evidence, bad witnesses. Not a surprise. The justice system works just fine: you need to be proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. No one doubts that he's a weirdo, and my guess is that he's a molester. But the prosecution did not prove that he did the crimes he was accused of. And that was a mostly white jury in Santa Barbara--a conservative place, to say the least--who got to hear all about prior "bad acts." If they didn't buy it, why should we?
