In his defense though he didn't really write the article. I think what happened was he posted his story in the comments section of Hogs Haven and the guys at Hogs Haven decided to turn it into an article after the attention it got in the comment section.

It's funny how we like hearing the info but yet we are also mad at him for going online and spilling what he and Haslett talked about.

The article doesn't bug me that much. But if he's going to the press and on talk shows to defend the story to the death... that's inappropriate IMO.

I think that is more likely the truth.

Plus no one has mentioned that The Pastor may be one of those people who is a poor listener and thus heard what he wanted to hear.

If I'm Haslett I'm spilling all the beans, even if those beans are make-believe just to throw people off course.

Haslett: Just between us man, we really believe that Kyle Orton is our long term guy of the future. And in case he doesn't work out, we're going to try and see if we can grab Charlie Whitehurst away from the Seahawks in the event they make a move at qb. And our final option is Chase Daniel, we're pretty sure he can be had for pennies on the dollar. Just don't tell anyone.

I believe we get inside info here without disclosing the source, the guy could have easily done that.

No. He wrote it as a Fan Post. It wasn't a comment that was turned into an article by the editors
