Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
This is a moot question. It's reported today on the NFL network improving. But to answer your hypothetical question I'd want to know from PM if he was not able to play would he consider staying on and assisting with coaching in some capacity? If he would and would give your team first crack at a contract then it's a win win and you go out and pick up a really good Rookie QB who can either learn behind PM or could be coached up by PM.

Re: The "Inside Word" on the QB Search
Then I'd have to have more information in regards to his recovery.
I really don't want PM. My first choice would be Flynn because he's young has shown he can make all the throws and is healthy. If Flynn is out I'd take PM over Orton and either hope PM is ready or plan on said Rookie stepping up early. |

If all I had to go on is what we know now probably not, but you don't take him without bringing him in and talking to him, talking with his doctor, having him show what he is currently capable of doing. If everything points to him improving as the doctors say then I don't see how you pass on him. |
