The Redskins, if unable to get Griffin III, should then trade back and use their 6th overall pick to acquire a mid 1st round selection and additional picks for the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Then and only then would taking Tannehill be a smart move. At least we still get our QB even if it isn't truly the one we want, and we get more draft choices to fill other holes along the roster.
I disagree that Tannehill is not a top-10 pick.

And I also think that not getting our guy at the most important position on the field is foolish. You do whatever it takes to get your guy, not a good enough guy.

I see what what you're saying but, it just seems a bit crazy to reach so far down being so far up at the top of the draft. That would be like MIN taking Riley Reif or DeCastro. It's doesn't seem as crazy further down the draft, picks 15-32 per se.

Tannehill should go in the top 10. If he is our guy, waiting for 15-32 is not a good idea 'cuz he'll be gone.

Other than the Skins, who in the top-10 will be crazy enough, I mean, interested enough in taking Tannehill that high?

Only the Bills and Dolphins are in the top 10. I see your point. This is why Tannehill's stock will rise. Not because of anything else related to talent. Teams are desperate. No thanks to Barkley and Jones of course.

Ok that's 2 out of the 6 teams ... In this league where teams will overpay for a potential franchise qb- you don't think that one of these teams will draft him if he's available. That's at least 6 of the top 13 AFTER the redskins that have a good reason to draft him.
