Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)

Overall these are my favorite QB scenarios in order of preference.

RGIII
Manning/Hoyer
Tannehill
Weeden

Tannehill, Weeden on about the same level for me. Tannehill with the slight edge.

Maybe the best argument I've heard to trade up for RG3 is that: if we don't the Eagles might.

Clear as day. Smootsmack told me that the Cowboys are trading up for RGIII and the Redskins are signing Julius Pepers.

I'm with SmootSmack on this. Corner isn't the need those offensive positions are, but Claiborne is a better player than everyone in the draft except Luck and Richardson.

Yeah I just list IMO what our biggest needs are: QB, T, WR, CB, S(obviously not the talent at safety for a 6th consideration). I think if you get a chance to grab the top guy at anyone of those positions at 6 you do it. I think Claiborne is 10x a better pick at 6 than Tanny. Blackmon or Floyd I think are better picks at 6 than Tanny.

Some are saying the price will be at least 2 first a 3rd and a 5? Wow idk about all that , this team needs more than one player, I'd rather sign Manning and draft a qb like tannehill

Maybe that's a poll question? Would you rather

A) Sign Peyton Manning (Without full assurance he's healthy)
B) Trade multiple picks including two 1sts for RG3

DMac5 knows all, says that Manning will not be a Redskin.

lol - for some reason, mcnabb thinks brining in peyton would be simliar to our bringin in him.

what mcnabb fails to grasp is that he is not (and never was) in the same league as manning - both in terms of on-field abilities and work ethic.

mcnabb didnt work out here because he had nothing left in the tank, was lazy stubborn, and did not practice well. THATS why 3 teams have dumped him in the past year. Its also why not one of the 31 other teams put a waiver claim on him when minnesota released him. the more mcnabb talks, the more he ruins his image and any sense of legacy he wanted to leave behind.

Not only that, but there were multiple teams with waiver requests for Kyle Orton, but not a single one (playoff bound QB needy teams) bothered to give McNugget a second thought. Guy is a lazy bum. He really does need to GTFO.
