People need to understand that we are gambling this whole regime on the QB we pick. Whether it's RG3 or some guy in the 2nd round. If the QB we pick is not good then the whole thing may get blown up in a couple years. New coaches want their own players...all these picks and players some people want to keep hoarding and building with could end up out the door if they don't fit the system of the new regime. I don't know about anyone else but i would rather risk everything we are building on a QB that most of the scouts in the NFL agree on then a later round guy that comes with mixed reviews.

The Manning thing however is a different story...if he's healthy and some prefer that route then I won't argue it because when healthy he's an all time great. I just personally prefer the RG3 route...

When the Steelers went from Cowher to Tomlinson they didnt jettison a bunch of players. I think most solidly built teams dont send players packing when they change coaches but then again most solid teams dont changes coaches that often.

The Redskins are not a solidly built organization and have had a revolving door at head coach. I think a big reason the Redskins seem to have major roster overhaul with every coaching change is because the roster isnt that good to begin with.

Like I said in another post, if RGIII is there at 6 take him but I dont want to see them get rid of a bunch of picks to get him because the team is still has a lot of holes to fill.

You just compared the Redskins situation to the most stable organization in sports...they have had 3 coaches in 50 years! And they were a winning team at the time Cohwer left that did not need any changes. I am referring to firings where it's not going well and teams clean house. Generally in those situations new people come in and they make wholesale changes.
