Romo slides and Big Ben is a lot bigger and so is Cam Newton. Someone said RGIII was a lot bigger than Vick, when he's actually a whopping 8 LBS heavier. No one cares about Romos and Ben's 40 time. And the Mannings, Brady and Drew Brees can extend plays too without running head on into traffic.

All I said was I'd make sure to emphasize sliding and getting out of bounds if I were the QB coach for the team that drafted RGIII. And no, I don't care how fast he is. I rattled off the last 12 QBs to win the Super Bowl, and none of them won because they were fast.

I don't have it handy, but I did read that one of the few red flags was that when he did run, he didn't make much of an effort to avoid contact. He suffered a concussion on a running play while attempting to slide and had the season ending knee injury on another.

As a matter of fact, you can read some concerns expressed here about him holding onto the ball too long taking unnecessary hits and some issues with fumbling.

Again, all I said initially was that sliding and getting the hell out of bounds would be priorities #1 and #2 in his development plan.
