From what I understand, we can cut him any time and suffer no losses before the season starts, of any year in the contract. This is the way the GreenBay Packers have most of their players contracts structured. I like it.

I wouldn't even say the Packers structure their contracts this way because you typically can't get players to agree to this when they are free agents, no matter how much you want to. Bottom line is Monty wants to be here and didn't want to see what was out there in free agency. Ever.

I would be surprised if he didn't get a salary guarantee for 2012 though. The least they can do if he's going to sign his rights to the Redskins though 2015 with no SB is guarantee his 2012 roster spot.
